Pretty much what everyone else said. Very small selection, very loud environment. They watch movies right in the middle of the building. WiFi is good but honestly by definition it's really not much of a library.

Although they didn't have the exact group that I was looking for, the staff was extremely helpful and considerate. I understand that they'll be opening to a new, larger building. I can't wait to see what they'll do with that.

Loud kids use this is as hang out afterschool, parents use it as a daycare and do not typically care about the children's noise level, staff does not do anything to enhance the library and teach the youth manners. The United Way did a study back in 2008 and followed children who did not know how to behave in libraries and museums and those children were more apt to be troubled, do poorly in school, and the long-term prediction was that the kids would have issues adjusting into productive members of society. It starts at home, I wish the Fowlerville Library was better but the serious readers typically drive up the road to the Howell Library where they enforce library manners and take it seriously. Perhaps get some people in there that have a Library Science degree and that will change it up!

I personally have had good experiences using library .

Non typical library environment, conversations done in full voice levels, classes and tutoring allowed in open space for all to hear. Selection of books is very limited and outdated. Best thing about library is they have decent internet speeds on wifi. However, you can get free wifi at most restaurants and with the same levels of conversations.
